Equal Justice Under the Law
→
“Equal Justice Under Law“, inscribed on the front of the Supreme Court building facing the Capitol, has its origin based on the Fourteenth Amendment which states (in part):
Honesty, Honor, and Hogwash
→
Hogwash has a way of speaking louder than honesty or honor. Let’s be discerning when listening to the media or teaching.
Dancing Leaves
→
Those nearly dead, dried-up leaves were dancing unashamedly without leaving the tree, as if to show the importance of clinging to their source and remaining joyful even when the winds of adversity (the impending winter season) were blowing.
THE BRIDE'S CHOICE
→
The Bride of Christ must decide now: Are we to be a servant bride or a master bride? The answer is found in the surrendered heart.
OUR GOD IS HOLY
→
Worship is born out of a love relationship. If we love Him, we will worship Him! Actually, our acts of love ARE worship! True worship takes place on the inside … in the heart or spirit of the worshipper.
ROYAL FEET
→
“Each burden we have to carry has once been laid on the shoulders of Immanuel.” Because of Him, we have confidence of success … He was born for adversity so we could walk in victory—His victory!
TIME TO SURRENDER
→
It’s time for total surrender and bold proclamation of The Most High God’s supreme authority over all principalities and powers, both natural and spiritual.
POWER TO CHOOSE
→
Resist the enemy when offense arises. Emulate Christ as His disciple. Leave all opportunity for offense in the hands of God and allow the perfect law of love.
PICKIN' AND GRINNIN'
→
I pray we are not found guilty of pickin and grinnin while reading God’s Word as if it's old-fashioned or reflects social discriminations.
CHANGE
→
God has not changed. His Word cannot change. His love for mankind will never change. The change before us is an ever-increasing rebellion...
THE DECEPTION TRAP
→
As believers, we need to understand how our enemy works if we are to be effective in our efforts to avoid falling into his trap.
NAIL THEM!
→
We must voluntarily nail ungodly passions and desires to the cross. To crucify our flesh includes rejection & suffering and total surrender.
THE ANCIENT LANDMARK
→
Stand for righteousness in this generation; refuse to move the ancient landmark of righteousness set by the fathers of our faith.
THE BRIDLED BRIDE
→
The thought of a bridled bride can be quite offensive! But, the Bridled Bride is a Surrendered Bride, surrendered to her Eternal Bridegroom.
HAVE DONE WITH FRETFUL CARE
→
Spurgeon: “What seems to you a crushing burden, would be to him but as the small dust of the balance. Nothing is so sweet as to ‘Lie passive in God’s hands, and know no will but his.’"
DON'T ANSWER THE DOOR
→
Don’t answer the door when the enemy comes knocking. Refuse to accept those feelings of defeat, oppression, heaviness, and error he brings with him. We are children of the Most High and it is He who dwells in us mightily.
A TRUE WORSHIPER
→
We're in this journey together, learning to obediently give Him all He asks of us while He provides the means to do so. The true worshiper will obediently give all that He asks trusting that He will provide.
TEAR DOWN THE PAGAN ALTARS
→
Ancient Israel had leaders who did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and obeyed His commands but failed to tear down the pagan altars..
