Obedience Before Evidence
Many misunderstand faith. It is not a shield from difficulty. Rather, it is the means by which we remain aligned with God in the middle of it.
Walking When No One Is Watching
The ancient Greek translation of Genesis says Enoch “pleased God,” and the author of Hebrews picks up that language. His faith was not a moment—it was a pattern. A steady, ongoing relationship.
Worship That Cost Everything
God is not honored by effort alone—but by hearts aligned with who He truly is. He reminds us that doing what is right does not guarantee safety. And he reminds us that faithfulness is not measured by outcome, but by allegiance.
Surrounded by Witnesses
Because faith, in Scripture, is not about certainty of outcomes… It is about allegiance to God in the midst of the unknown.
Enjoy God's Presence
Sometimes God allows us to see many “prints” or signs of His invisible hand. Other times, He lovingly withholds them—not to distance Himself, but to deepen our faith.
Experience God's Peace
Peace is not something we are waiting for. It is something we are meant to walk in. But walking in peace requires surrender. Obedience is the evidence of that surrender—not driven by emotion, but by faith.
Satisfaction in God
There is a kind of thirst that nothing in this world can quench. And when that thirst goes unmet, it begins to surface in other ways. We were never meant to live disconnected from Him. Just as the body needs daily nourishment, so does the soul.
Created For His glory
God's glory is not abstract. It is God made visible. Recognizable. Known. You were created for that. Two profound truths emerge for those in covenant with Him: God reveals Himself to us. God reveals Himself through us.
Called Out of Captivity
We cannot deeply know God while remaining under the weight of what He came to break. Come out from that which keeps us from living in the fullness of what God has prepared for those who love Him and keep His commandments.
The Name of God
When God made Himself known, He did not simply reveal information about Himself—He unveiled who He is. His name carried weight. Holiness. Nearness. Authority. Wonder.
Run and Be Safe
Run from fear. Run from striving. Run from the weight of trying to hold everything together. Run—don't hesitate. Run into the Name of the Lord.
The Tower You Can Run To
The Name of the Lord [Yahweh] is a strong tower. Not your strength. Not your ability to fight back. Not your understanding of the situation. His Name!
The Name is a Place
In Hebrew thought, the name isn’t just what you call someone—it is who they are. Their nature. Their character. Their presence. Scripture quietly redirects us: Run to the Name. Not eventually. Not as a last resort. But first.
The Forgotten Forty: Prepared to Witness
In those forty days, Jesus prepared them. He strengthened their faith. He steadied their hearts. He calmed their fears. He anchored their confidence, leading to the moment He would entrust them with His final mission.
Forty Days In Between
These forty days are not just something to remember—they are something to enter. A sacred window where God gently calls us to come near to Him, to see Him more clearly than ever before.
Encountering the Risen Christ
That very day, two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. (Luke 24:13-14)
The Next Forty Days
"The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned." (1 Cor 2:14)
The Whole Story
We walked through Holy Week. Not in haste… but step by step. And now we begin to see—nothing was random. Nothing was rushed. Nothing was without purpose.
Black Saturday
Saturday is the space between promise and fulfillment. Between sorrow and joy. Between what feels final… and what is about to be revealed. It is the day when faith is not sustained by sight—
but by trust.
Good Friday
The Lamb has been slain. The sacrifice made. The weight of sin was borne. And the veil is torn. No barriers. No hindrances. What was once unclean has now been made clean. Washed in the blood. Purified. A way was made for all.
Maundy Thursday
From the table, to the garden, toward the cross. Regardless of the cost, Jesus did not stop pursuing His Father's will. He surrendered. He endured. He overcame.
Holy Wednesday
Wednesday reveals a quiet dividing line: Those who resist... Those who plot… Those who betray… And one who pours out everything in love.
Holy Tuesday
Jesus did not speak in vague shadows. He told the people plainly. The cross was not unfolding around Him. He was walking toward it. Anointed to give His life. Sent by the Father. Willing.
Holy Monday
Something greater than a cleansed temple was coming. The system itself—the layers, the barriers, the separation—was about to be undone. The veil that stood between God and man… would not remain.
Holy Week Intro: Jesus' Journey
Learn What Jesus Was Doing On His Journey To The Cross
Set Apart and Set Free
The life Peter describes grows out of knowing what was paid for you and by Whom.
Without Blemish or Spot
Jesus didn't just die willingly. He died qualifiedly. He was the only one who could pay the price for sin.
The Price Was Never Silver
What held us captive required more than a typical ransom. No amount of silver or gold would be adequate. Not even close.
You Look Like Your Father
You bear His name. You carry His likeness. Holiness is living in a way that resembles your Father.
Don't Go Back
You've been called out... Not into a list of rules, but into a relationship that totally redefines you.
Hope Fully
Hope isn't simply wishful thinking. It's believing with your whole heart, having confidence in a promise being fully yours.
Gird Up
"Get your thinking out of the way." Tuck in whatever is tripping you up. There's work to do!
On the Mountain
The hard places, the higher places, the set-apart places. Where God speaks, where we seek, and where we are changed.
On the Mountain: He Changed
“And as He was praying, the appearance of His face was altered…” (Luke 9:29)
On the Mountain: He Prayed
“He went out to the mountain to pray, and all night He continued in prayer to God.” (Luke 6:12)
On the Mountain: He Preached
On the Mount of Beautitudes: “When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain…” (Matthew 5:1)
Knowing Him
The only way we can know Him more is to grow daily in our relationship with Him and allow our lives to be influenced by the Word of God.
Count Your Blessings
📖"I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me." (Psalm 13:6)

Welcome to Life Under the Influence
Formed by His Word. Led by His Spirit.
Influenced Heart
We are all under the influence of something. The life that is shaped by God's Word is the life that stands firm.
Just Like Peter
We are assured that if we know Him through His Word, then we, too, will be able to exclaim with confidence, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Focus
How can we recognize the lies of the enemy unless we have something planted deep within our hearts against which to compare them?
War Of The Wills
In many ways, the Bible could easily be considered the written record of the "War of the Wills".
Deeply Rooted Fear
“The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.”
Let It Shine
God wants to use you and the Light that dwells within to open the eyes of those who choose to sit in darkness.
The Ox and the Donkey
How can we claim to know our Master if we cannot obey His Word? Obedience is the key to knowing God, to living in the flow of His blessings, and to fulfilling our destiny.
Lock the Door
You have the power to use the key through Jesus Christ. Use it, shut the door, lock it securely, and refuse to let sin enter the door of your heart.
Greater Than Great
God is greater than great. Higher than high. Holier than holy. Mightier than mighty. He is sovereign over all, totally in control of everything.
Closet Sins
Hiding in the closet is useless. Swing open that closet door and allow the Lord to assure you of His boundless love.
No Hiding
The Father knows us intimately and—even with all our faults and shortcomings—He loves us completely.
Beyond Human Desire
The Psalmist writes of a soul yearning for communion with God, showing an impatience that indicates deep urgency and unfathomable need of the true Thirst-Quencher.
It Is Good
The unfailing hand of our God is right there to guide us with His counsel [His Word]. We're not left hanging or cut off, even when our attitudes are brutish.
Hearts On Fire
Many who call themselves Christians forget this simple truth: to love Jesus is to love His Word. Scripture makes it clear—Jesus and the Word are one. If we love Him, we will love His Word.
Press On
Even when we have realized a victory along the way, we need to keep on pressing on until we reach our final goal.
Our Highest Calling
There is a place in God where we can find increased strength—strength to live a holy life according to

In God’s economy, small is not a setback. It is often the seedbed of greatness. Just look at the tiny mustard seed!
Watch Out!
The enemy is opposed to us; he resists our efforts to do good and all our efforts to obey God. He attempts to alarm us by his roar...
The Gift of Servanthood
Every man, woman, and child was created and designed to be a servant, either to sin or to righteousness.
No Staggering
If anything would make a man stagger, it would be the third word uttered by God: “Be blameless!”
God Alone
Turn your eyes toward God and God alone; lose yourself in His glory!
Wholly Holy
The fire on the altar did not destroy the offering; it transformed it into total surrender, a pleasing aroma to YHWH.
The Other Side of Surrender
Purpose is not discovered — it is entered through submission. God consistently ties purpose or destiny to obedience before explanation.
Connected to the Source
The Spirit at work flows outward through those who believe in Jesus, to those who are connected to the Source.
Love
It is God's will that the Body of Christ molds its love for others into the shape of His divine love. Pure love. Selfless love. Blameless love. Cross-shaped love.

Jesus invokes divine authority before speaking. In ancient Israel's legal culture, “Amen” seals truth. Jesus puts the seal on His own words. He speaks as the source of truth!
Cause and Effect
The cause of Hannah's shame and grief was the curse of barrenness. The effect was a glorious prayer offered to the Lord for her miracle child.

Four things that we should employ as our dynamic and participatory responsibility as disciples of Christ.
The Agape Feast
The early Christian meals (Agape Feasts) included communion within the full meals. It echoed the ancient covenant banquets and was in anticipation of the Messiah Banquet
WORD-MINDED PEOPLE
Concentrating on the negatives in this world will eventually blind us to the faithfulness of God. We may soon become so aware of the evil surrounding us that we cannot see the goodness of God ...
Stay Connected
Abiding not only keeps us spiritually healthy, but abiding also impacts others as we live connected to the life-giving, life-sustaining nourishment that comes from the Vine.
YHWH is ...
In Christ, we are different, set apart, unique. We become "other" as we bear the image of our Father, who is "completely other".

The Gospel of John records seven times Jesus described Himself as "I am..." and not by coincidence.
The Sacred Name
The Name of the Lord is hallowed, holy, sacred, and should be honored, revered, and carefully guarded from misuse or abuse.
Spirit-Empowered Skill
Bezalel was the FIRST person in Scripture recorded as being filled with the Holy Spirit. Bezalel functioned as a Spirit-filled "creator" called and anointed by YHWH.
Many Voices - One Truth
If what we read, hear, or share doesn't align with God's truth, it should be rejected! There are many voices in today's world, but only one Truth!
Living Where God Dwells
Jesus invited us to abide in Him, not work harder or try better. It's an invitation to live consciously in His presence.
Beware!
The One True God alone is to be feared above all, by all, and in all.
Reformatted God
The world needs to see God as True, Just, Holy, Righteous, and Pure.
When Obstacles Become Gold Mines
We must come to understand that God may be forming a gold mine of endurance, wisdom, compassion, and deeper trust in Him through our trials.
Innovative Sacrifice
The same fire that signals YHWH's nearness becomes lethal when approached wrongly. Innovation in worship is not neutral – it can be rebellion.
God Speaks Hope

Mighty to Save
Whether we be trapped by sin that so easily besets us, our God is “mighty to save!"
Boundaries
The boundary line was non-negotiable; crossing it came with consequences.

If we take the time to look closely at their context, scriptures we frequently quote are actually misapplied!
