COVENANT OF PEACE
→
What a blessing it is to know the peace that calms our fears and helps us deal with questions for which we have no answer.
BLIND FAITH
→
Faith starts with simple obedience no matter how ridiculous it sounds, no matter how silly it seems; this is what we call "blind faith".
CONSIDER HUMILITY
→
True humility accepts less even when more is deserved. Pride exalts self; humility exalts the Lord. Choose humility as your lifestyle.
FACING DISAPPOINTMENT AND DISCOURAGEMENT
→
To whom do you turn when facing disappointment and discouragement? "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we trust...the Lord."
WALK BY FAITH
→
Faith believes something is real without having seen it, seeing it with the eyes of faith, "for we walk by faith, not by sight".
TINY PACKAGES
→
“So” reminds us that sometimes big things are wrapped up in tiny packages. Two letters capture the immenseness of God's love—He gave the best He had to give to show He so loves us.
MY GOD, I AM THINE
→
It is a blessing we dare not take for granted to know that we belong to Him. With all our failures. With all our frailty. With all our mis-steps. In our falling down. In our tripping up. In the throes of lack and want. In the midst of pain and weakness. We are His.
NOT ASHAMED
→
Now is NOT the time to be silent. Now IS the time to join our testimony with Paul's saying, "I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
OH, GOD HELP US!
→
When we allow His name to be used in vain—as CURSE words—and don’t say anything, we are literally saying it doesn’t offend us when it SHOULD offend us!
A HEART OVERFLOWING
→
Worship is a spontaneous response from a heart overflowing with love and desire to respond with love. Surrender. Reverence. Humility. Love.
COVENANT OF EXCHANGE
→
The covenant of exchange is a basic principle: I will become what you are and you will become what I am; our souls are knit together as one.
DROUGHT GRIPPING MUCH OF THE US
→
Let's be sure our churches are bearers of the "rain" instead of fading into the status quo of the natural and spiritual drought.
PREACHING OF THE CROSS
→
I am so in awe of the great lengths God went to in order to make a way for me. The preaching of the cross--may it ever be my life’s theme.
CONTINUE TO PRESS ON
→
when you realize a victory in response to prayer, you must keep that victory bathed in prayer--you must press on. You can't afford to let up simply because you have the victory!
BEHIND CLOSED DOORS
→
When you're desperate for answers, you'll find everything you need behind the closed doors of your prayer closet.
EATING HUMBLE PIE
→
We don't need to promote ourselves in order to gain respect or to be noticed; we don't need to make others look bad so we will look good in the eyes of those who have authority over us. God is the One who promotes...
ETERNAL WORD OF GOD
→
Everything in life is temporary; nothing is permanent let alone eternal. It's difficult for us to grasp the value of the eternal Word of God.
WANDERING EYES
→
The problem we all have, though some more than others, is that we get easily distracted. No one else can save you. Not your family. Not your church. Not your ministry. Not your job, your successes, or even your good works.
